Won an undefeated National Championship my junior year at Lynn!

Signed with Virginia Beach Mariners. The team folded after 2 weeks. |

Switched teams and signed with Puerto Rico. |

Went into semi retirement because of my groin/hip injury. It was the same injury that I had suffered during my time with the Chicago Fire. It was a very sad day. |

Underwent a successful hip/groin surgery with Dr. Philippon in Vail, Colorado August 12, 2008. He repaired an inch in a half size labrum tear in my groin and shaved part of my hip down. |

Started an intense physical therapy plan four hours after surgery on August 12, 2008. I was still in my surgery gown and they had me on a bike pedaling!! |

2008 November
November 10, 2008 got medically cleared to play soccer again after 3 months of hard physical therapy. |

Ran my 1st 2v2 Soccer Tennis Charity tournament December 28, 2008 in Mandeville, Louisiana. |

2009 January
January 7, 2009 America's 1st Online Soccer Academy is officially open to the public and Jared Montz Soccer, LLC is born. |

I feel healthy again and ready to go back to professional soccer in early 2009. |

Made very tough decision to retire due to not feeling 100% anymore. My body just wasn't the same after surgery. You can read my retirement speech by clicking here. |

After early retirement I am now a full time private coach and businessman. I am still living the dream just a different one then I had growing up. Now my dream is to help my players reach their dreams! I do this with my Online Soccer Academy, soccer camps, MontzTV, podcasts, blog, private training, and any other way I can think of to motivate and teach them about soccer and life. |

Our slogan, Believe in it ® officially became a registered trademark. Now we get to put that cool little ® symbol every time we use it! Our mission is to teach athletes that if they Believe in it ® and back that up with hard work, anything in life is possible. |

Launched our new business CollegeRecruitingWebsite.com. At CollegeRecruitingWebsite.com we work with competitive high school athletes in all sports to build them a personal website; YourName.com, and teach them how to promote and network themselves confidently to college coaches using their College Recruiting Website.

America's 1st Online Soccer Academy becomes a free service for all soccer fans to enjoy! We make better soccer players through online training videos and teach players that if they Believe in it® and back that up with hard work, anything in life is possible! |

We officially launch the inaugural OSA World Juggle-a-thon for Nothing but Nets! On April 25, 2011 soccer players, fans, pros, clubs and supporters groups around the world will be juggling to raise money for life saving nets. Working together through soccer, we can help protect entire communities in Africa from malaria. |
