How to do Multiple Pull Back V's
Today we are learning how to do multiple pull back V's. One pull back V is a great way to escape a tackle. Multiple pull back V's are a good way to work on your ball control.
It's also good fitness. If you're really good you can do multiple pull back V's with your eyes closed!
Key Points:
Key Point #1 - Use your toe studs to drag the ball back.
Key Point #2 - Push down on the ball when you drag it back.
Key Point #3 - Push the ball to the side using the inside of your foot.
Key Point #4 - Make sure the ball is behind your plant foot when you push it.
Key Point #5 - For multiple Pull Back V's don't push the ball too far away from you. You want to get into a continuous rhythm without having to run for the ball.
Key Point #6 - Scoot your plant foot forward when you pull the ball back.
What's Wrong:
If you are pushing the ball into your plant foot, then you are pushing the ball too soon. If that happens, remember to drag the ball all the way behind your plant foot before you push it.
Bonus Tip:
Use your skill to get you out of trouble, not put you in trouble.
