Core Exercises - How to Get Six Pack Abs
Use these core exercises to get your SIX PACK abs! A STRONG CORE is responsible for stabilizing all you do physically and it helps prevent injuries.
I recommend doing abs exercises 3-4 times a week after, before or during breaks at training. I personally like to do them after.
Exercise 1 -- Russian Twist
1. Sit on your booty with your legs crossed at your ankles and hold them off the ground.
2. Engage your core, keep your back straight and hold a ball in your hands.
3. Twist side to side touching the ball on the ground as you go.
4. Do 3 sets of 15 each side. As you get stronger increase reps per side.
Exercise 2 -- Heel Touches
1. Lay on your back with your feet flat on the ground.
2. Crunch up and keep your neck from being curled too much forward.
3. Rotate side to side touching your heels as you go.
4. Do 3 sets of 15 each side. As you get stronger increase reps per side.
Exercise 3 -- Legs Spread Crunches
Not sure if this is a name for this exercise but I just made it up.
1. Lay on your back, touch the soles of your feet together and let your knees fall to the side.
2. Crunch up and keep your neck from being curled too much forward.
3. Do 3 sets of 30 crunches. As you get stronger increase reps.
Bonus Tip!
Don't do abs everyday! Just like your body needs rest, abs need rest too! Do abs 3-4 times a week will be great for your core and make you a strong player.
