#14 Soccer Training Session

This soccer training video will help you train on your own outside of team practice.

Equipment Needed: A few cones and as many soccer balls as you have!


0 - 5 minutes: 

Dynamic warm up. Different runs and exercises, stretching on the move. Be creative. 


5 -- 15 minutes:

10 minute cardio run. One lap with ball, one lap without ball slightly faster. Continue this rotation for 10 minutes. Make sure when dribbling you keep your eyes up when the ball is not right at your foot so you can practice seeing the field. 


15 -- 20 minutes:

Speed of Play practice. Pass up against the fence using different techniques. Check shoulder as ball comes back to you. If it's a man on situation take a touch and pass it back or pass it back one touch. If it's turn, take a touch, turn and attack the space ahead of you. Then turn around and repeat. Do this for 5 minutes. Be creative, key is to check your shoulders to look for defenders and teammates in the game. 


20 -- 25 minutes:

5 minute cardio run. Same as before except 5 minutes instead of 10. Increase speed slightly. 


25 -- 30 minutes:

Free Juggling, tricks, etc. If you go for your record be sure and update your Online Soccer Academy dot com juggling chart!

If you want to extend the training session time then add on time to any section you want extra work on. 

Make sure to finish with cool down and stretching. If you are up for it add on a few sit ups and push ups!
