#29 Soccer Training Session
Today we are doing a Soccer Training Session that is focused on Ball Work! Do these Soccer Drills on your own to increase Soccer Skills.
Equipment Needed: A ball and 7 cones.
0-5 Minutes
First 5 minutes is your warm up. Jog and stretch. A normal warm up.
5-10 Minutes
Minute 5, to minute 10. Ball work. Do any foot exercise you want but change the exercise every 30 seconds. Go for 5 minutes.
10-15 Minutes
Minute 10, to minute 15. Ball work with cones. Set up two cones 3 feet apart from each other. At start cone, do laces touches, then roll the ball across to the other cone. Stop the ball and repeat the process. Go for 1 minute. Rest 30 seconds. Then repeat 3 times.
15-20 Minutes
Minute 15, to Minute 20. Ball work with sprints. Set up 7 cones. Dribble in and out of 6 cones, then sprint to top cone. Very light jog back. Repeat for 5 minutes. For the dribbling do all right foot, all left foot, both feet, roll overs, etc. You be creative. Make sure to have a light, light jog on the way back.
20-25 Minutes
Minute 20, to minute 25. Inside to outside touches. Switching back and fourth between both feet. You can do advanced or basic. Every 30 seconds switch feet. You will tire out so take a short break if needed. But try to go 5 minutes straight. This is good for ball work, your mental training and strengthening your legs.
25-30 Minutes
Juggling with push ups! Juggle with your feet, thighs, head, etc for one minute. Then do as many push ups as you can up to 20. If you do 5 that is okay, do your max but don't do more then 20. Then go back to juggling for a minute. Repeat this process for 5 minutes.
Make sure you finish with a cool down and stretching. A few sit ups would be a good idea too! Have a great session!
