How to be Confident

Today we are learning how to be confident and how to gain confidence.

Building confidence is important and here are a few of my suggestions on ways to build confidence.

Pros say the game is 90 percent mental. If you don't believe in yourself and are not confident in your abilities the odds are you will fail. Believe in yourself and back up that Believe in it® attitude up with hard work and you will be successful!

The same way you can improve your physical game, you can improve your mental game! It just takes practice and consistency.

Key Points to Gaining Confidence:
1. Say Believe in it®! Tell yourself, in your mind, multiple times a day "I Believe in it®". Anytime you have a negative thought, say "Believe in it®" and block it.

2. Think positive! Don't think negative anymore. For example don't say "I'm probably not going to play well today because I usually stink". Instead say, "I will play well because I've been practicing and I can't wait to get this game started!".

3. Keep your head up! When you look down at the ground, negative thoughts creep in your mind. Look up with your shoulders back and this will help create positive thoughts in your mind. You will have a look of confidence about you too.

4. Don't let mistakes get to you! Mistakes are going to happen! Get use to it! All you can control when you make a mistake is how you react to it. Do not react negative and put your head down. React positive and hustle back on defense.

Bonus Tip!
You control your mindset! Don't let your dreams or goals be discouraged by doubters and haters. You control what your mind believes. If you tell it you stink, your mind will believe it. If you tell it you are great, your mind will believe it!

What Player Could Be Doing Wrong:
If your confidence isn't improving then you are not following the steps above for a long enough basis. Building confidence is a daily routine and doesn't happen overnight. Do it daily and sooner or later your mindset will become more positive and confident!
