Johnny has 25 Goals in 11 Games - Believe in it® Athlete Spotlight

Congrats to Johnny Morias!  He is the current leading scorer in central Ontario, Canada for his age group.  He is a U-13 and has 25 goals in 11 games.  

Johnny is this week's Believe in it® Athlete spotlight.  I'm proud of Johnny.  Of course because he is scoring goals but mainly because of how hard he has worked for his success.  

Johnny emailed me recently and said, "I emailed you a few years ago saying I was having confidence issues.  You sent me links to your "Mental Training" videos and ever since then I've continued to watch your videos and improve my game.  The Online Soccer Academy has gotten me to Believe in it®.  Thank you!"

Congrats Johnny!  Keep it up!

16 Year Old Joel Freestyling - Believe in it® Athlete Spotlight

16 years old from Saipan, here's my attempt at freestyle :) Instagram: @iluvufootball

16 year old Joel Fruit is this week's Believe in it® Athlete spotlight!  Joel is a player and freestyler from Saipan; an island in the Northern Pacific Ocean.  He plays for Paire FC.  

A few weeks ago he asked me to check out his freestyle video.  He said, "I'm not much of a freestyler but I had fun making it anyway."

Enjoy his video!  I think you will see he is being modest because he is REALLY GOOD!

James Murray Improves Every Session - Believe in it® Athlete Spotlight

14 year old James Murray from Australia is this week's Believe in it® Athlete spotlight!  James plays for Balcatta and his coach, Denis Coleman, nominated him.  

Coach Coleman said....

"James has been training as hard as he could and watching as many OSA videos as possible in preseason to pursue his first season of major club football/soccer.  

James isn't one of those players that people think stink.  Just because he only started this year does mean he is not an incredible player. In his first 3 games as a right wing he scored 4 goals for a division 2 under 14's side. James dreams big on becoming a professional soccer player. At the age of 17-22 he plans to head to USA or England to go for as many tryouts as possible in the MLS, BPL or any of the the 3 FL leagues also in England.  I think James should be scouted because he is a young talent with a huge potential.

The Online Soccer Academy has helped young James train incredibly on his own when he is not at his team training.  I see him improving every session step by step.  He is incredibly fast, a great dribbler and has a venomous shot.  I think the world better watch out because James has got the biggest potential of a player i have coached."

Jersey and Shelbie Rockin Bracelets - Believe in it® Athlete Spotlight

Shout out to Jersey and Shelbie Spencer from Martinsburg, West Virginia!  They are two sisters rockin their Believe in it® bracelets in this Instagram photo! 

I saw this photo because they used #Believeinit on Instagram.  I'm @JaredMontz on Instagram by the way! 

Jersey wears her bracelet regularly.  The idea is to wear it and if you ever have a moment of doubt like before a big game.  You look down at your bracelet, say Believe in it® in your mind and you get an instant shot of confidence.  It works! 

For games when Jersey can't wear a bracelet she tucks it in her sock.  Gives her that extra little boost!  It's a little stinky but it does the job!

Jordynn Joins League's 100 Juggle Club - Believe in it® Athlete Spotlight

Congrats to Jordynn Cheatle for getting 125 juggles and joining her leagues 100 juggle club! Jordynn is a 12 year old Believe in it® Athlete from Quakertown, Pennsylvania.  She plays for the U13 White Tigers which are a part of the Quakertown Soccer Club.  

Jordynn's mother, Jodi, nominated her for a Believe in it® Athlete spotlight.   Below is what her mom had to say. 

"My daughter previously struggled with her athletic endurance.  Over the last year and a half, she has slimmed down tremendously and put her mind to being a successful athlete.  Last spring, at the end of her 5th grade year, she decided she wanted to try out for travel soccer.  She had not played soccer since she was in kindergarten.  She made the team and has made tremendous strides since.  This past spring, Jordynn decided she wanted to learn how to juggle the soccer ball.  When she started, she could barely juggle the ball 5 times!  This past week she triumphantly earned her way into the league's 100 Juggle's Club!  We video taped her doing 125 juggles.  

Today she is up to 175!  I am blessed to have a child who strives to succeed in everything she does.  She continues to impress her teachers, coaches, peers & family in EVERYTHING she sets out to do!  So proud of my Jordynn!"
